Arizona Letterwinner,

May's newsletter looks a little different this month, but trust us, this last month deserves its own unique newsletter email.

Welcoming a whole new class of Arizona Letterwinners

May welcomed a whole new class of Arizona Letterwinners with Student-Athlete Convocation. We’re so excited for more additions to the A-Club family!

Class of 2024 Senior Luncheon

Thank you Softball Letterwinner Ashleigh Hughes (2015-2018) and Football Letterwinner Kyle Quinn (2008-2013) for speaking at the annual C.A.T.S Senior Luncheon!! Life after graduation is an intimidating transition for student athletes and it always helps to hear some positive and supportive Letterwinners provide encouragement.

Celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month

May was Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, and we want to recognize all our APIDA Letterwinners. Bear Down for Life!

C.A.T.S. Forever Letterwinner Graduates

Arizona Athletics has a program called C.A.T.S Forever, which helps alumni Letterwinners who did not complete their undergraduate degree while here on campus return to finish. Representing the C.A.T.S Forever program at Convocation was Antoine Singfield. Antoine played football for us in the early 2000’s and graduated with his degree in interdisciplinary studies.

Congratulations to our two additional C.A.T.S Forever Letterwinner 2024 graduates, Baseball Letterwinners Colton Moore and Konnor Wade. Thank you to Jennifer Mewes with C.A.T.S Academics for supporting the C.A.T.S Forever cohort just as any other team.

Wildcats Back in the Building

Football Letterwinner and Sports Hall of Fame member Rob Waldrop (1990-1994) visited Arizona Football ahead of the BIG12 Conference change.
Basketball Letterwinner (1983-1988) and Coach Steve Kerr returned to the UArizona campus to receive his honorary doctorate. Congratulations, Steve!

Your Arizona Wildcats are the Territorial Cup Series Champions!

Track and Field represented the Red and Blue at the PAC-12 Tournament! Several student-athletes made their way to the winner’s podiums.

Softball made their way to North Carolina to represent Arizona in the post-season tournament. They dominated with a win in the first round!

Men’s Tennis made history. They became the first team outside of California to win the PAC-12 Tournament! They made their way to the Sweet Sixteen. Congratulations to our Men’s Tennis team!

Baseball made strides throughout their season and didn’t stop there! Congratulations to our Baseball team for finishing strong in their regular season with a PAC-12 Championship!

After a successful West Lafayette Regional, our Men’s Golf Cats continued their NCAA Championship journey, finishing strong.
